We all enjoy lighting up rocket crackers right..!?But we all just focus on the fact that it has to go up..just up..no matter which direction but it has to be in the sky for some time...But have you ever wondered about the fact that if we can't control these small cracker rockets, how do they controll the real rockets and missiles? What happens if we fail to control its direction? How do they do it? Well after reading this you will know how . thrust vectors as its name suggest is done by controlling the direction of thrust from its engine. When it turns in a direction the rocket also change its direction accordingly just like a fish uses its tail.


AIM

To manipulate the direction of the thrust from a rockets engine or motor in order to control it's attitude or angular velocity


APPROACH

The thrust vectoring system is an Arduino based system which uses the inputs from the gyro sensor to move the rocket motor using the metal gear servos for X-Y oriented movement thus determining the direction of the rocket. The two servos are attached to the rocket motor which is placed independent to the rocket body; thus determining the X and Y coordinates.
